The Port
The Port was a community driven island inside the online virtual world Second Life between 2004-2006. The island was used as a platform for productions reflecting on the then emerging public sphere of the social web. Performance events staged on The Port were broadcast live in parks, clubs and art centers. Works coming out of The Port included Objects of Virtual Desire and Flack Attack.
